Background

The U.S. data center market is experiencing significant growth, driven by the increasing demand for digital infrastructure and the rise of artificial intelligence applications. This expansion has attracted substantial investments from private equity firms aiming to capitalize on the sector’s potential.

Founded in 2015, Prime Data Centers is a US-based data center developer and operator. In July 2023, Ares Climate Infrastructure Partners (ACIP) and co-investors invested in Prime Data Center as part of their digital infrastructure investment strategy.

BLK acted as Ares’ agent and managed the transaction and investment process within the Israeli market.

Work Process:

BLK had identified potential institutional investors active within the US energy transition market, prepared materials and reports for the investment committees, managed the communication with the deal team, the potential investors and other advisors, conducted external due diligence process, sensitivity analysis, valuation and comparables to other similar transactions up to final approval and closing of the investment.
